Monkeypox cases in India ?

More than 200 confirm or suspected cases of monkeypox have been reported from 20 countries, WHO  said on Friday. In India, the Indian Council of medical research ICMR said that the government is prepared in the wake of the increasing cases in the countries. Dr Aparna Mukherjee, an ICMR scientist, has asked people with the travel history to the Monkeypox affected countries Report if they have any symptoms like High fever, lymphadenopathies, large lymph nodes, body ache, rashes etc. “People should not get panic about this disease, its symptoms usually spread by very close contact. There are set guidelines for it which have already been published from ICMR-NIV” , the ICMR official stated.

For the diagnosis if anyone have such like symptoms of monkey box can get tested either from the fluid  that come out of the lesions or from the respiratory samples by the confirmation of Monkeypox viral DNA either by polymerase chain reaction PCR or sequencing.

Monkey box is largely as self-limiting disease, but high-risk groups can have severe consequences.India is ready against the Monkeypox ;right now no mass vaccination is needed against monkeypox.
